Biography

National Collective was a pro-independence campaign group established during the Scottish Independence Referendum 2014. Founded by Ross Colquhoun, Andrew Redmond Barr and Rory Scothorne in 2011, the group was chiefly comprised of artists and creatives and encouraged engagement with campaign issues through art, written and spoken word, events, local groups and social media. Following the result of the referendum, the group was disbanded on May 1st 2015.
